Fruity Edition is a pattern-based sequencer, which means that you create your music pattern by pattern using the step sequencer and the Piano Roll and then compile all these patterns via the playlist window (this one also supports audio tracks with hard disk streaming or audio loops directly). You can then add a wide range of effects to your instruments (reverb, phaser, flanger etc.) and route the final result either using the export or using REWIRE® technology. FLS is ideal for beginners in computer-based music production to create complex melodies and chord progressions, to work with existing samples and to use favorite VST plug-ins.

Everything is included in this software and is compatible with most music industry standards (VST/VSTi/VST2, DXi, DXi2, Buzz, ReWire, MIDI, MP3, WAV, OGG), so you can use your favorite plug-ins right inside FL Studio, or, if you feel like it, use FL Studio as a plugin in another host sequencer.
