Rock with power chords

Strum Electric's chord library contains basic and extended chords available in open, movable, drop voicings, or power chords. Play the chords you know and Strum Electric voices them as a guitarist would.

Gig-ready

A great collection of single coil- and humbucker-fitted classic guitars, a 2-channel amp with spring reverb, a speaker cabinet, and effects, all prepped in a ready-made preset library.

Strum on your keyboard

Down- and up-strokes, slides and bends, hammer-ons and pull-offs, palm muting, muffled strings, and arpeggios are all part of Strum Electric's playing technique vocabulary. Performing them is simply a matter of using the strumming keys or MIDI loops.

Using Strum Electric as an instrument plug-in

The Strum Electric plug-in integrates seamlessly into the industry most popular multi-track recording and sequencing environments both as a virtual instrument plug-in. Strum Electric works as any other plug-in in these environments so we recommend that you refer to your host sequencer documentation in case you have problem running Strum Electric as a plug-in.

Using your MIDI controller knobs and faders

Every parameter on Strum Electric's interface can be linked to an external MIDI controller. To assign a MIDI Link, right-click (Control-click on a Mac) on a control (knob, button, slider, etc.) and a contextual menu will appear. Choose Learn MIDI Link. Move a knob or slider on your MIDI controller. This will link the control of Strum Electric GS-1 to the MIDI controller you just moved.

Using MIDI program changes

MIDI program changes have been assigned to the factory Presets or Performaces. You can therefore use program changes to explore the Strum Electric library.
