Tassman is an extremly rich modular sound synthesis environment based on physical modeling. It is both an impressive collection of unique synths and effect processors, and a tightly integrated synthesis studio which lets you customize instruments in any way you wish or even create your own from scratch.
Choose from a library of 50 synths and more than 1000 presets created by top sound designers. These offer a near infinite range of creative possibilities, from highly realistic emulation of acoustic instruments, analog and FM synthesizers, loop processors to unique hybrid creation simply not possible by any other means.
Tassman can be used both as a synthesizer and a real-time audio effect processor. For example, acoustic resonators can be used to add unique texture to your sound. Use Tassman as an effect plug-in in your favorite host application.
Here you'll find examples of the Tasmann in action of all shapes and sizes, including several solos which allow you to accurately hear the Tasmann tonal quality, and mixed examples to suit just about any taste.
Minimum system requirements, compatibility, sample rates, bit-depth, etc…
*The minimum system requirements mentioned above are for standalone usage. For plug-in usage, please refer to your DAW software requirements (Sonar, Pro Tools, Cubase, Live, Digital Performer, Logic Pro, etc.).
The Tassman plug-in integrates seamlessly into the industry most popular multi-track recording and sequencing environments both as a virtual instrument plug-in. Tassman works as any other plug-in in these environments so we recommend that you refer to your host sequencer documentation in case you have problem running Tassman as a plug-in.
Every parameter on Tassman's interface can be linked to an external MIDI controller. To assign a MIDI Link, right-click (Control-click on a Mac) on a control (knob, button, slider, etc.) and a contextual menu will appear. Choose Learn MIDI Link. Move a knob or slider on your MIDI controller. This will link the control of Tassman 4 to the MIDI controller you just moved.
MIDI program changes have been assigned to the factory Presets or Performaces. You can therefore use program changes to explore the Tassman library.
